Best Smell:

Thursday

Sad, Sad, SOML.

It happens to the best of us and sadly it is never anyone's fault.

But, to both people involved, one person is considered to be responsible and therefore MUST hold all the blame. Yes, that person is you. You, innocently nice, have now turned your best friend's affections into something more than just friendly. You don't feel the same way. So now you feel guilty when you have to reject him, because you feel it kind of IS your fault that a once great friendship is now ruined, and the other person considers you guilty as well because hey, if you would have accepted his loving pledges, you two would be tighter than ever.

Looking back now I realize that I do not have as many friends as I could, so I immediately feel bad and like I've done something wrong. But then I stop to think and I realize that it isn't anyone's fault, just the annoying rule that friendships must always be so fragile.

Why is it that friendships can take days, weeks, months, even years to form, but they can be ruined within the time span of one phone call, or one text, or anything that breaks the normal pattern that it followed before?

Just something to think about. Because friends that suddenly, annoyingly, aren't your friends anymore-now that's definitely the SOML and if it's the SOYL, let me know.

Luuuuuuurve,
M

SOYL vs. SOML, Jillian.

Jill Jill!
I love you, but I have to disagree.

That may be the SOYL, but the SOML is the rain. I really enjoy all the people running scared on the street. I actually like walking home without an umbrella. Maybe you don't like being wet, but really, you can change that! You can either look like this:

Or like this:

Afterall:

"Some people walk in the rain; others just get wet." - Roger Miller

Love you Jillian!

SOMD: Thursday, May 7th

Today was a nice day, and although I had my headphones in for a good 3/4 of the day I can't think of any song in particular to fit the title as song of my day (SOMD).

However, I did happen to enjoy an old favorite once again today, so that can be the song of my day. Hopefully it will be the song of your day as well!

Still Fighting It - Ben Folds

Enjoy it!

Ra ra ra. SOML.

Hi.

it is me, Marley, and as I walked home today I thought it would be reasonable to address an important issue, the story of my life.

Why is it that staying home on Saturday night, Friday night, or even on a school/work night is considered lame? And when did people start doing things? I am perfectly happy going home whenever and just sleeping, or watching a movie, BY. MY. SELF.

I do enjoy getting ready and excited for important events, but you know what else- I enjoy sleeping. I enjoy changing into my pajamas and watching a movie, rather than changing into a dress and going out to see a show.

Do you ever get mad when people are like "what are you doing this weekend?" and then laugh / act like they're better than you when you say you have no plans? SOML.

Love,
M
